Brass 5” Mortar & Pestle Coricidin Advertising- Honoring Pharmacy Fraternities
Brass 1984 mortar and pestle from Schering Corporation. Pestle is 5″ long and embossed with SCHERING on 2 sides. Bottom of base is embossed Schering Corp. c.1984. Brass pestle is designed to look like a hypodermic ampoule.
The mortar is actually 2 parts soldered together. The pestle is marked Coricidin and is 5 3/4″ long. Tarnished, but in great condition other than the bottom was roughly finished. Research indicates it’s an advertising piece in a series by Schering in 1964, this one with an Egyptian motif.
