Pharmaceutical collectibles and memorabilia – 3d drug rep model – Lidoderm Lidocaine 5% pain patch 3D skin and nerve model that shows how the Lidocaine pain patches target the pain in nerves caused by shingles. The 3-d model is battery operated and takes 3 triple AAA batteries (not included). The model stands 6″ tall and is 8″ x 8″ at the base. It lights up bright red to show the pain in the nerve endings when the switch is turned on. The white strip on the top is the Lidoderm Lidocaine 5% pain patch, and when you press it down the nerve endings all light up bright blue instead of red showing how the medicine works to relieve the pain caused by shingles or any other condition. Two of the sides of the base of the 3-d model show how the medicine targets the pain after shingles and the mechanism of action and how PHN pain is treated by Lidoderm. one side has the ENDO Pharmaceuticals Logo and important safety information. The other side has 4 pull out tabs with additional information on heritage, efficacy, safety and dosing. These were used by pharmaceutical drug reps, doctors, nurses and other medical professionals to assist in sales presentations and to help explain to patients how the pain medication works. These were handed out on a very limited basis to only a select few Doctors as they were not a highly produced item and are very hard to find. Check out all of the photos!
