A nice set of antique scales. A fine set with an oak and marble case. I do not see a makers mark. There is no “zero” function, the two trays seems to be close in balancing. Base is about 13-1/2 by 6-1/2″.
Details: A fantastic and wonderfully designed antique early-Victorian pair of sterling silver travelling apothecary scales with precision steel beam, both the pans hallmarked for London 1839 by John Clark.
