This is a fabulous matching pair of Italian Delft Albarello Apothecary Drug Jars from the 19th century. The second jar is inscribed ‘PULPA CASSIE’ – a currently unidentified substance. Italian Delft/Faience.

Most likely a pot lid & base label, in victorian era hand rolled and cut Camphor Lozenges were coated in sticky sugar or varnish -given Camphor is a sticky gum in first place even more so likely intended use was on a pottery container.
Here we have a unusual Antique item for you ,in the form of this Glass Lidded Jar, this comes in its original Leather Case which has the word Pomade on the Top, condition is not bad a small chip on the outer Rim Edge of the Jar and again a small chip on the Lid of the Jar but otherwise ok,this measures 12.5cms or about 5 1/4 inches in height.
