This replica tile features a 17th century London Apothecary’s Crest of Arms with cedar tree and the motto “Opiferque Per Orbem Dicor” – “I am called throughout the world the one who brings help”. This tile is made of glazed ceramic earthenware. It is hand decorated in Delft style with blue design. The dimensions are approximately 5-7/8 x 5-7/8 x 1/8 inches. It is stamped on the back with “Delft Holland”. The original information sheet is glued to the back of the tile. There is also a hanger attached to the back for hanging on the wall. CONDITION: This vintage item is in excellent used condition. The glaze is clean, bright and shiny. There is some wear to the attached information sheet from use and age.
